Crain's 2017 40 Under 40

Nominations are now closed

You have until June 16 to nominate someone for Crain's 2017 40 Under 40.

Now in its 27th year, this list of the Chicago area’s best and brightest spotlights young business executives; philanthropic and government leaders; and thinkers, doers and makers who are leaving an indelible mark on the city and region. Past winners have gone on to steer Fortune 500 companies, solve perplexing civic problems, win the top honors in their field and even run successfully for mayor and president of the United States. Meet our 2016 class here.

Crain's Chicago Business is now seeking nominations for the 2017 class. Winners will be profiled in the Dec. 4 issue of Crain's.

To be eligible, nominees must be 39 or younger as of Dec. 4, 2017.

To submit a name for consideration, there is a nomination fee of $199, which must be paid before the nomination can be formally submitted.

The nomination fee ensures that your candidate's name will be presented to the top editors of Crain's Chicago Business for consideration; it does not ensure your candidate will automatically make this honor roll.

To address technical issues with the submission form or payment process, please contact our customer service department at customerservice@chicagobusiness.com or 877-812-1590.

Please note that honorees chosen for the 2017 list will be notified before Sept. 4, 2017. Also, multiple nominations for one individual do not influence the process in any way and are actively discouraged.
